En av passagerarna omkom, de andra tre skadades svårt.
Pappa vårdas nu på sjukhus i Katmandu.

Håkan Sunnliden Seriously Injured in Traffic Accident in Nepal
During a trip to Nepal, Thursday May 15, Håkan Sunnliden was involved in a traffic accident, between Kathmandu and Hetauda.
It is not clear what caused the accident but the car, a jeep, fell down from the mountain road.
In the car was also another Swedish man, a 30 year old youth pastor from Götene, who later died in the hospital. The Nepali driver interpreter was also critically injured and are undergoing treatments, the conditions are currently unclear. Håkan is currently being treated at a hospital in Katmandu.
He underwent neck surgery on Monday May 19, and according to the doctors, the surgery, in which the neck was stabilized, went well and he is out of danger for life.
We still cannot say what it means that the surgery went well, we hope to learn during the day. But we are of good courage. The fact that the surgery went well released a lot of the worry. He is out of danger now.
Håkan also damaged the face and broke the left arm in two places. If the coming operations are to take place in Sweden, Nepal or elsewhere is unclear .
We wish of course to get him home as soon as possible, but we have confidence in the medical treatment in Nepal and that it is managed in the best way .
Håkans oldest son Victor arrived in Nepal on Sunday May 18. He and Håkan have talked a lot with each other.
Håkan remembers the accident clearly. Håkan told Victor that he crawled the 50 meters back up the slope.
Since Håkan came to the hospital, he has been conscious and in good spirits. Håkan was in Nepal along with other Swedes to, among other things keep pastor training.
